Moodelyze (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides an AI-powered mood analysis and chat experience designed to help users understand their emotions and behavioral patterns. Data Collection

We collect the following types of information:

• Account Information: Email address and OTP verification details. In the future, Google login may collect basic Google account info.
• Chat & Mood Data: Your chat messages, AI responses, mood analysis, session summaries, daily/weekly/monthly mood patterns, and app usage insights.
• Usage Analytics: Interaction frequency, session counts, and activity patterns to help improve app performance.
• Device Information: Device type, OS version, app version, and crash logs for debugging and stability improvements.

Data Usage

We use your information to:

• Authenticate your account using email OTP or (future) Google login.
• Process AI chats, generate responses, detect mood, and create analytics.
• Display insights such as mood trends, calendars, weekly/monthly summaries.
• Improve the accuracy, performance, and security of Moodelyze.

Moodelyze uses Google Gemini Model 2.5 Flash to process chat messages. Your content is sent securely to Google’s AI services to generate responses and mood analysis. According to Google’s free-tier policy, content may be used to improve Google’s products.

Data Security

We store user data securely using Supabase, which provides encrypted storage and secure authentication. We implement modern security measures, including encrypted communication and restricted access.

While we take strong precautions, no system is 100% secure. We encourage users to keep their devices protected.

Your Rights

• Delete Chat Sessions: You may delete individual chat sessions by long-pressing them inside the app.
• Request Account Deletion: You may request full account deletion at any time. Once deleted, all your messages, moods, analytics, and personal data are permanently removed from our database.

Children's Privacy

Moodelyze is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has used the service, please contact us and we will remove their data.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted here with an updated date. Continued use of Moodelyze means you accept the revised policy.
